We believe that people cannot grow spiritually unless they are connected relationally. At Summit Community Church of Morganton, NC, we have a network of Connect Groups (Small Groups) that meet throughout the week and on Sunday mornings to discuss the Bible, pray for one another and join in fellowship. 

Connect Groups (or Small Groups) are another opportunity to connect with people with a similar interests in studying God's Word and deepening their relationship with others. Connect groups provide a way for people to connect and enjoy authentic relationships while gaining a greater understanding of God and His Word. 

Connect Groups are designed to be safe, friendly places to explore your faith and get to know other people with similar interests. We believe that Connect Groups are for everyone, but not every Connect Group is for everyone. We encourage anyone interested in Connect Groups to visit in multiple groups in order to find the best fit.

A few of the current small groups

These featured groups meet during the week and on Sunday morning at the church at 407 S. Green Street in Morganton.

At 9:15 am, Traditional Sunday School meets in the Fellowship Hall while the Student (Youth) Ministry meets on the 2nd floor Youth Room.

Other groups feature leader-led discussions where the groups define themselves based common interests and meet at a convenient. Some groups welcome children and provide childcare.
