Summit Children's Ministries
At Summit Community Church in Morganton, North Carolina, the primary purpose of our Children’s Ministry is to partner with families to support them as they raise the next generation. A generation that loves God and displays that love by loving Him, loving others, and inviting all people to do the same.
We're New. Where do we go first?
When you arrive on campus, trail guides and greeters are available at the Welcome Center in the main lobby to answer any questions. They will guide you to the age appropriate area and walk you through the registration process.
At registration, you will receive a security tag for your child and a matching one for yourself. The matching security tags ensure safe pickup following the close of service.
Our Children's Ministry teachers and volunteers are background-checked and trained to work with each age group to ensure your child’s experience is safe and enjoyable.
Parent Commissioning
At Summit we believe our job is to equip the parents to disciple their children. We do this by surrounding parents and caregivers with love, support, accountability and prayer. Faithful brothers and sisters provide additional voices of truth for children and students, not to assume parental influence, but rather supplement and strengthen it. AMP- 10:45am
AMP - All My Praise - is an interactive group time to welcome the children and for praise through song, prayer, video messages, and giving. Following our group time, we break into age-appropriate groups and dive into our Bible lesson. Lessons come from The Gospel Project.
Tots - 9:15 & 10:45am
Tots are our 2-3 year olds are bundles of energy and joy. We use the KidSpring curriculum which is Gospel-saturated, Biblically true, active, engaging and age appropriate for each developmental stage of life.
Nursery - 9:15 & 10:45am
We have a wonderful staff of volunteer leaders who love spending time with the littlest ones - birth through 2 years old. Nursery is available during the 9:15 and 10:30 Sunday Services.
